Stewardess Costumes -The Top Costume For Halloween 2011
ABC’s newest series this fall, Pan Am, has been getting super reviews. With as many as 11 Million watchers throughout its first episode in the U.S., and with only a few days left until Halloween 2011, lots of women are motivated to show up at Halloween parties in a stewardess Halloween costume.
The best part about this Halloween outfit is that it doesn’t require as much make-up or clothes as other Halloween costumes. In addition, choosing to wear a stewardess outfit would definitely capture lots of attention
in a party without being too scary or too weird.
Stewardess costumes are very recognizable thanks to the 3 main parts of the outfit. Their standard outfit, which usually comprises a top and a skirt, a scarf, and their infamous hat.

It really depends on the person whether or not she desires these accessories to match up to the color of the outfit or have them in contrast with one another.
An important and frequently overlooked accessory is the flight attendant “wings” pin. In the Pan-Am show, Christina Ricci alongside her flight attendant colleagues are seen wearing these special pins, which was a standard for stewardesses throughout those times. Having this pin is important in trying to bring back the 1960s era of stewardesses.
Another very important stewardess Halloween costume detail is the make-up and hair. Stewardesses are very well known to be very immaculate and orderly when it comes to their overall appearance. Although the 60s are famous for voluminous or “bouffant” hair, a simple ponytail and buns can do the job just as well. As for the make-up, a simple red lipstick can do the trick even without eye shadow and minimal blush. What’s important is to keep the neatness and maintain the subtlety of becoming a stewardess.
